What to Expect

Your hot air balloon adventure begins the moment you meet us at our meeting place in Milford, Michigan. Plan to be with us around 3 hours for the entire experience.

Weather Monitoring & Confirmation of Flight Details

• Your pilot will monitor the weather in the days and hours ahead of your flight and will contact you around 2 p.m. on the day of your flight to give an update on weather conditions and confirm meeting location and meeting time.

Check-In & Pilot Briefing

• We’ll greet you at our meeting place, check the weather again, determine launch location, and go over pre-flight details. 

Ground Transportation to Launch Location

• You will leave your vehicle at the meeting location and ride with us to the launch location, which is determined based on the current wind direction. Launch locations are typically within 10 minutes of the meeting place. 

Get Ready!

• Witness set-up and balloon inflation by your pilot and crew and take advantage of great photo opps before you even leave the ground.

Relax and Enjoy the Ride!

• Flights last 45-60 minutes depending on landing spot availability.

Pack Up and Return to Meeting Location

• Upon landing, the pilot and crew will pack up the balloon and load it back into the the chase vehicle. You can participate in the process or simply watch. You will be transported back to the original meeting place in our chase vehicle. 

Post-Flight Celebration

• Enjoy a champagne toast with your pilot and crew after your flight!
